Annie
Following the sell-out success of Chicago, we are very excited to present the classic family musical, Annie. This beloved show tells the story of Little Orphan Annie and the hard knock life she leads in New York City in 1933. Things aren’t easy with Miss Hannigan running the orphanage, but it isn’t long before Annie is whisked away to Daddy Warbucks’s Mansion and she gets to live the life she’s always dreamed of. Join us as we bring this classic tale to life…

Chicago
Ladies and Gentlemen, you are about to see a story of murder, greed, corruption, exploitation, adultery and treachery – all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts.
We are absolutely thrilled to present the iconic musical CHICAGO and invite you to join our wonderful adult company as we enter the world of Jazz and liquor in the 1920’s with jazz slayer Roxie, her cellblock rival Velma and smooth-talking lawyer Billy Flynn.
Joseph
Cabaret Theatre Company returned to the Brewhouse this November with the family favourite Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! The biblical epic was brought to life as Joseph and his brothers journeyed through Egypt. With a crash of drums and a flash of light, the show was an explosion of red and yellow and green and brown and scarlet …

Annie
Joseph
Seven Cabaret pupils successfully auditioned to be in the professional production of ‘Joseph’ at Nottingham Theatre Royal in April. The show starred X Factor winner Joe McElderry.
The girls were part of the children’s choir and were on stage for the entire show, singing nearly every song including the well known tunes ‘Any Dream Will Do’ and ‘Close Every Door To Me’.
This was the fourth professional production of Joseph that has featured Cabaret pupils and it was a great experience for them all!

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Following the success of ‘Dear Edwina’, Cabaret Theatre Company returned to The Brewhouse in November 2015 with one of the quirkiest shows around. A Tony Award winning musical featuring some of the most intelligent, if eccentric, young spellers Putnam has ever seen! With some wonderful musical numbers each speller reveals their hopes and struggles as they make their way through the competition.
“The cast manage to make the singing and dancing look both slick and easy, and the acting is faultless. I was thoroughly entranced by Spelling Bee and thought it was very much an inventive and entertaining piece of theatre that deserved a much wider audience.” – Bill Pritchard, BADAC
