BBC’s Classroom Heroes
T’yanna was a member of the Derby Theatre choir who sang alongside West End star Hugh Maynard on the BBC 2 Classroom Heroes programme in October 2016. He was paying tribute to his former head teacher and sang ‘Something Inside So Strong’
IDTA Theatre Dance Awards 2017
Holly was nominated for an IDTA Theatre Dance Award for her performance during her Grade 4 Ballet exam. Congratulations!
The Happy Birthday Show!
Thank you to everyone who came to see our Happy Birthday Show, and for helping us celebrate our Burton School’s 20th Anniversary.
Our show was full of songs from your favourite musicals and fabulous dance routines presented by our talented cast of young performers.
It was a pleasure to have some of our ex-senior students back to open the show for us… Here’s to the next 20 years!
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Following the success of ‘Dear Edwina’, Cabaret Theatre Company returned to The Brewhouse in November 2015 with one of the quirkiest shows around. A Tony Award winning musical featuring some of the most intelligent, if eccentric, young spellers Putnam has ever seen! With some wonderful musical numbers each speller reveals their hopes and struggles as they make their way through the competition.

Seize The Day
Our Littleover School performed their show “Seize The Day” at Landau Forte College in January 2015. The show was a fantastic mix of singing and dancing, with everything from Scooby Doo to Disney’s Newsies, performed by over 100 pupils aged 3 to 20.
We had a wonderful weekend at the theatre and everyone worked really hard to produce a fabulous show, well done!
